Advanced Allergy & Immunotherapy Comprehensive Course

About the Course
The Advanced Allergy & Immunotherapy Comprehensive Course is a three-day, CME-accredited program offering an unparalleled deep dive into the science and practice of modern allergy and clinical immunology. Structured across thematic sessions and practical workshops, the curriculum bridges immunology with frontline clinical decision-making – empowering participants to deliver precision, evidence-based care across the full spectrum of allergic disease.

Scientific Program Overview
A Functional Medicine Approach to Allergies
Why are allergy rates rising so dramatically in the modern era? This opening session unpacks the immunological forces behind the allergy epidemic, including the hygiene hypothesis, dysbiosis theory, and the role of the gut-immune axis. Participants explore root-cause frameworks – mast cell activation syndrome, leaky gut, food sensitization, and the stress-HPA axis- that go beyond conventional symptom management to address the underlying drivers of immune dysregulation.
Mastering Dermatological Manifestations in Allergic Disease
A comprehensive two-part exploration of the skin in allergic disease. Participants build a rigorous foundation in dermatological science and lesion morphology before delving into the immunopathogenesis of atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, vitiligo, and immunobullous disorders. The session culminates with the allergist’s integrated approach: skin prick and patch testing, biologic candidacy, allergen immunotherapy and strategies to interrupt the atopic march before it reaches the airways.
The Allergic Upper Airway: A Practical ENT Approach
Rhinitis remains one of the most prevalent and under-treated allergic conditions worldwide. This session decodes the phenotypes and endotypes of allergic rhinitis at the molecular level, navigates the challenging territory of non-allergic rhinitis subtypes (vasomotor, occupational, hormonal, gastrointestinal) and addresses special populations including pregnant women, elderly patients and athletes. Participants also master the classification and biologic management of chronic rhinosinusitis with and without nasal polyps, with training in CT Lund–Mackay staging and nasal endoscopy.
Mastering the Allergic Airway: Diagnosis and Management of Asthma and Pulmonary Conditions
A precision medicine masterclass in asthma. Participants move beyond GINA symptom scoring to risk stratification using allergen sensitization profiles and molecular biomarkers. The session tackles the thorny problem of asthma mimics – inducible laryngeal obstruction, eosinophilic bronchitis and functional contributors – and equips clinicians with a structured framework for differential diagnosis. Advanced diagnostic tools including FeNO, bronchoprovocation testing and component-resolved diagnostics are examined alongside a rigorous biomarker-guided approach to biologic therapy selection, monitoring and switching.
A Comprehensive Guide to Pediatric Allergy and Asthma
Children are not small adults, and their allergic diseases demand age-appropriate thinking. This full-day pediatric track covers asthma pathophysiology in the developing immune system, differential diagnosis of wheeze, and tailored GINA-guided management from infancy through adolescence. Complex cases of difficult-to-treat and therapy-resistant asthma are examined, and the biologics revolution in pediatric asthma is placed in context. The afternoon session addresses the complete spectrum of pediatric allergic disease: cow milk allergy, food anaphylaxis, the atopic march, chronic urticaria, hereditary angioedema, and emergency anaphylaxis management.
Hands-On Workshops
Four practical workshops run across the three days, giving participants direct, supervised experience with the tools that define modern allergy practice:
- Workshop 1: FeNO Testing – Asthma and Beyond – Mastering fractional exhaled nitric oxide as a biomarker for type 2 airway inflammation, including applications in biologic candidacy assessment.
- Workshop 2: Spirometry for Adults and Pediatrics : Performing and quality-grading spirometric maneuvers per 2022 ATS/ERS guidelines
- Workshop 3: Understanding the Use of Inhalers and MDIs – Device selection across pMDIs, DPIs, SMIs, and spacers; teach-back patient education with tailored guidance for children and the elderly.
- Workshop 4: Immunotherapy in Allergy – A Comprehensive Clinical Update – Biological mechanisms, patient selection, route of administration (SCIT vs. SLIT), and emerging modalities in allergen immunotherapy.
